New Goapele: Milk & Honey.

We've heard a snippet of it way back in April, well now the full version is FINALLY here. If you have always been a fan of her material, you'll remain loyal. This track is so soulful just like everything else she releases. She never fails to deliver. Like the song says, it's "Just like milk and honey, it feels so warm inside." I would say more about it, but I think your best bet is to listen. Get an eargasm below. Hopefully you'll put it on repeat.

Erykah Badu Update.

This is the last time I'm writing a post like this. Yes...another let down. New Amerykah Part II: Return of the Ankh will NOT be released in August. The fall months are looking more likely. But even though there will not be an album in August, word is there will be a single out. Keep your ears open for that.

In other news, she will be doing a lot of shows in the states and in Europe. On May 29th, she will be in Hawaii with Goapele so if you're down there, make sure you check them out. Other dates are listed on erykah-badu.com.

Next post on Erykah I make will have some solid news. Either that or a new song enclosed.

Sneak Peak of Goapele's "Milk + Honey."

As we all know, Goapele is working on her third album. Her first two albums, Even Closer and Change It All, were the definition of melodic beauty and perfection. Her latest album, Change It All was released in 2005 so after a while her fans were eager to hear some new material.

In the later half of 2008, we heard the song "Don't Be Shy" and 90% of us were extremely anxious to hear more. Then we heard the song "Chocolate" which was only used in a Verizon commercial but was great to hear nonetheless. Now ladies and gentlemen, we have a snippet of a new song entitled "Milk + Honey" which will be on the album. The snippet is not in HQ, but it's enough to get me excited for the full version AND the album (which will also be entitled Milk + Honey). Hopefully you all feel the same way. Listen below.

Goapele & Nas will be performing in San Francisco on November 28th. Get tickets here. Goapele also has a new official site.

According to the blog Chrisette Michele posted on MySpace, she is working with Ne-Yo for her upcoming album. After reading her entry, I'm very anxious to hear the song.

Esperanza Spalding has tons of concert dates lined up, check them out over at her MySpace.

Musiq will be performing at the Apollo in NYC on December 9th. Enter the contest for a chance to see him. You must be 21 or older.
