Jazmine Sullivan- Jump Off.

"Jump Off" is one song that didn't make Ms. Sullivan's debut album, Fearless. It was produced by PPP's Waajeed and features Coultrain. It's a shame how it was left off the album because there's a nice vibe coming from it. Listen below.

"Jump Off"

Thanks to FreshSelects. Also, according to FS, there are other Waajeed-produced tracks that didn't make the album. Hopefully they will all end up surfacing.

Check out the video for Jazmine Sullivan's latest single, "Dream Big" below.

And here's the video for Musiq's latest single, "Sobeautiful." The stills were posted a week or so ago and the video premiered yesterday. When I first heard this song, it instantly became one of my favorites from the man. The one thing I love about this video: it's not overdone.

Oh Jazmine, How I Miss Thee...(Retry)

(since the first post disappeared)

Okay, we all know Jazmine from her hits "Bust Your Windows" and "Need U Bad" correct? Well that's not the Jazmine that I used to know. These songs are okay and everything, but what happened to her sound? You know, that "In love with another man" sound? The sound that got her signed? I miss that. Now I was a fan of her album, but I always knew that something about it was missing but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Her voice is made for songs like ILWAM, not the songs that she is singing now.

What made me realize this? Well I was listening to her rendition of "'Round Midnight" the other day and I loved it. I just wish her album was full of songs like that and others like "Silent Tears," and "Take Over You." Hmph.

Her current style isn't a problem though, she's making moves right now. I'm not mad at her.

Video: Jazmine Sullivan- Bust Your Windows.

Here is the video for Ms. Sullivan's second single off of her debut album, Fearless, and a great choice if I must say. It just might give her another #1 hit.

She looks gorgeous in this video, but there's something about it that just doesn't match the song...hm. Oh I got it! I don't see any windows being busted. Odd....

Congratulations to Jazmine Sullivan.

Her debut album, Fearless, is No. 6 on the Billboard album chart, selling 66,000 copies during it's first week. This is a great number for someone new on the scene. Congrats!

Jazmine Sullivan Performing on BET.

I do not know why this information isn't posted on any other site, but she's having a little concert or whatever on BET (you know how VH1 has "VH1 Soulstage?" Well it's like that) and it airs TONIGHT at 8:30 PM EST according to the guide. I don't know if that's right, because it aired at 7:30 PM as well. Oh well, tune in at 8:30 anyway! And make sure you buy her album, Fearless!

*UPDATE* It didn't come on at 8:30. Sorry...
*ANOTHER UPDATE* It comes on Friday night at 8:30PM EST.

Jazmine Sullivan- Dream Big (The American Promise)

So everyone has an Obama-inspired track these days, right? Well, Jazmine Sullivan hops on that bandwagon. I'm not sure about how I feel about this track at the moment... Fearless in stores September 23rd!
